Mr. Howard L. Hoffenberg, Attorney at Law, Patent Attorney.
Mr. Hoffenberg serves as Of Counsel to Park Law Firm. Mr. Hoffenberg specializes in counseling on patent and trademark applications, licensing, opinion letters, business issues and litigation. Mr. Hoffenberg received his J.D. degree from DePaul University in 1985. Mr. Hoffenberg holds State Bar licenses in California, New York and Illinois. He has also been licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office since 1986.
Experienced as both a patent prosecutor and a litigator, Mr. Hoffenberg's technical background is a Bachelor of Science Degree in chemistry and biochemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Hoffenberg worked at Zenith Corporation as a Lithographic Process Engineer and the W.H. Brady Company as an Adhesive & Fiberglass Developer.

Ms. Katherine ("Katie") Lien, Attorney at Law.
Ms. Lien is an Associate Attorney of the Litigation Group at Park Law Firm. Her experience includes corporate law, breach of partnership and contract, employment, real property, and bankruptcy matters.
Ms. Lien graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California, Irvine in 2000 majoring in Criminology Law & Society and Psychology. Ms. Lien received her Juris Doctorate and Master in Dispute Resolution in 2003 from Pepperdine Law School and Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution. At Pepperdine Ms. Lien was awarded a fellowship from the Straus Institute to represent the Institute in the community. Ms. Lien also clerked with the retired Honorable Arthur M. Greenwald, of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. Ms. Lien is admitted to practice in California and in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
In the past Ms. Lien has volunteered at the Los Angeles Superior Court, Alternative Dispute Resolution Department, coordinating mediators assigned to court cases filed at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse. Ms. Lien also served as a caseworker at the Asian Pacific American Dispute Resolution Center, mediating cases within the Asian American community in nearby Los Angeles areas.
Ms. Lien is a member of the Federal Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Southern California Business Litigation Inn of Court. Ms. Lien is fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese, and is conversational in Spanish. Ms. Lien enjoys reading, snowboarding, watching movies, eating cookies, and spending time with her family and friends.
Mr. Michael Cohen, Attorney at Law, Patent Attorney.
Mr. Cohen serves as Of Counsel to the Park Law Firm. Mr. Cohen is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a patent attorney and has an expertise in the following areas: Patent infringement, copyright infringement, and trademark infringement. Mr. Cohen frequently counsels clients regarding issues of use and prosecution of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and domain names. Mr. Cohen is also active in rendering patent and trademark validity and infringement opinions in a wide range of technical disciplines. Mr. Cohen's practice also involves general business and corporate consulting with a focus on technology and entertainment issues as well.
Mr. Cohen worked in the Intellectual Property department with the national firm of Lewis, Brisbois, Bisgaard & Smith, LLP. Mr. Cohen has recently served as a legal commentator for the British Broadcasting Company regarding issues of Rights of Publicity and entertainment. During law school, Mr. Cohen was an Interscholastic Trial Advocacy National finalist in the National Trial Advocacy Competition. Also during law school, Mr. Cohen prepared patent applications covering diabetic monitoring devices for Medtronic MiniMed, Inc.
Mr. Cohen received his undergraduate degree with an emphasis in biological and chemical sciences from Arizona State University and graduated with a Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law as a Paul W. Wildman Scholar. Mr. Cohen is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is admitted to the State Bar of California; U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit; U.S. District Court Northern District of California; and U.S. District Court Central District of California. Mr. Chong H. Roh, Attorney at Law.
Mr. Roh is an Associate Attorney at Park Law Firm. Mr. Roh specializes in trademark and copyright counseling, litigation and intellectual property licensing. Mr. Roh received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in 2005. Mr. Roh is admitted to the State Bar of California and the U.S. District Court Central District of California.
Mr. Roh counsels individuals and companies in all aspects of trademark protection, corporate transactions, and litigation issues. Mr. Roh advises clients regarding issues to consider prior to filing a trademark application as well as counseling clients throughout the trademark prosecution process. Once clients have obtained trademark registration, he provides advice in building a trademark portfolio and protecting the value of their marks. Mr. Roh also counsels clients regarding franchise and license agreements.
Mr. Roh's experience also includes patent infringement litigation involving multi-million dollar video game developers and trademark infringement litigation and trial between multi-million dollar clothing manufacturers and wholesalers.
In the past, Mr. Roh interned and volunteered at the Loyola Law School Center for Conflict Resolution as a mediator, handling cases involving landlord-tenant disputes and collection matters for low-income residents of Los Angeles County.

Mr. Chanmin Park
Mr. Park received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Seoul National University. He worked as a design engineer at Technology Center of Daewoo Motor Company for five years, and acquired knowledge in design and manufacture for the representative mechanical device, the automobile. And then he worked as a technology specialist at Kim & Chang Patent Law Office, Korea for seven years and acquired experience in patent prosecution and administration, specializing in foreign patent prosecution including US patent applications. Also he finished master course requirements in computer science at California State University, Northridge adding computer knowledge, which has become essential in modern patent practice. With the combined knowledge and experience, he is actively working as a technology specialist and patent agent in the field of mechanical and computer-related patent prosecution.
